Our Mission

I am an eleven-year Army veteran. My primary MOS was 11B, which is infantry, but I served in several capacities during those years. I served during the tail end of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as well as in the Bosnian conflict. I have been stationed all over the U.S., Italy and Germany. I served as an Infantry Team Leader and Squad Leader. I was assigned as a Unit Training NCO, responsible for the scheduling and implementation of training for all soldiers in the unit. Some of my other duties have included Ammunition NCO, Transportation Section NCO and test weapons unit Team Lead. In this last capacity, I worked with many military contractors on various weapons and camouflage systems that include Lockheed Martin, AM General, PM Night Vision and U.S. TACOM.

I served the public as a Siler City Police Officer and a Wake County Corrections Officer right here in North Carolina, as well.

I am a certified instructor through the NRA's Instructor Certifications Program for Pistol,  Rifle and Shotgun Instruction, as well as a certified Range Safety Officer.  I am also a Certified North Carolina Justice Academy CCH Instructor.   I have been training individuals, both civilian and military, for over 25 years in various forms of firearms safety and usage. Given today’s environment, I feel it is a good time to bring this experience to the everyday citizen to better equip them in handling a self-defense situation.
